Our community kitchen was created to facilitate intercultural and intergenerational exchange in the Chinatown neighborhood. Cooking classes presented by grassroot groups and community groups to educate on various cooking methods of different cultures are a great starting place to conversations that may reach far beyond food preparations.
Community groups interested in creating cooking classes and finds cost to be prohibitive or a barrier to do so, please contact us at sponsor@westcoastfoundation.org.
Cooking is love made visible.
Our community kitchen has the bare basics for your cooking classes & workshops. Provision includes pots, pans, utensils, plates, fridge and microwaves. Please bring all ingredients, any specialized cooking equipment and special serving plates as required by your class.
Cleaning of kitchen post-event will be your responsibility, additional cleaning fee may be applied for inadequate cleaning.
